Vintage Platinum Diamond Ribbon Brooch
|
|
An elegant vintage diamond brooch crafted in platinum, dating to the late 1940s to early 1950s.
The brooch is designed as a stylized ribbon and floral spray, featuring a sculptural openwork motif set throughout with brilliant diamonds. A scalloped halo of baguette-cut diamonds forms the outer frame, surrounding a looping ribbon design that adds movement and dimension.
The lower portion of the brooch is designed as a cascading spray of marquise-cut diamonds, arranged to resemble delicate leaves extending from the central stem. Additional round diamonds accent the ribbon motif, creating a beautiful balance of geometric and organic forms.
Expertly crafted in platinum, the setting allows the diamonds to display exceptional brilliance while highlighting the elegant lines characteristic of mid-century jewelry design.
Refined yet dramatic, this brooch is a beautiful example of the glamour and craftsmanship of the post-war jewelry period.
Worn by Jake Shane to the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Also worn by Josh Richard’s in March 2026.
